I have a 41 mile/50 minute commute each way to work, so I often bring my running clothes to run right after work, because it's hard sometimes to be motivated to run after the long drive! Well, last week I drove to 3 different towns to provide technology support in schools. We had such pleasant weather that I decided to pack my bag and run when I was done in the schools! I had to hit up some teachers for suggestions but I managed to find routes in Greeley, Scotia and Shelton!
My run in Greeley on Tuesday was really nice, but my goodness! There was a giant hill that I got to run down first, then back up on the way back! The weather was perfect! The next day I was in Scotia, and it seemed less hilly there until I actually got going. The hill was gradual but it still kicked my behind--it was almost a mile long! It was also a lot warmer out. I finished my little tour de Central Nebraska with a short FLAT run in Shelton. I was sad that I forgot to snap a photo there!
It was fun running in different places! The scenery in Nebraska is amazing--I love the country roads!
